The Faculty of Language Studies successfully conducted the 3rd session of the Book Club on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at the Faculty Board Room, under the theme “In reading, the soul findeth its wings.” The event, open to all members of the university community, marked a significant step towards fostering a culture of scholarly discourse and interdisciplinary engagement within the university. The session was structured as an annotation-led discussion, based on a concept proposed by Ven. Prof. Gonadeniye Pannarathana Thero, Dean, Faculty of Language Studies. The subject specialists from various departments served as annotators to guide participants through the selected texts.
