The Department of English at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka proudly celebrates the conferment of the prestigious Sahithyaratna Lifetime Achievement Award on Emeritus Professor E. A. Gamini Fonseka in recognition of his outstanding contribution to English Literature.

 

The distinguished award was presented by His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka on 8 September 2026, at the 67th State Literary Awards Ceremony.
