Senior Lecturer Dr. Narayanan Mallikadevi assumed duties as the Head of the Department of Language Skills Development on 08th December 2025.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Tamil Language from the University of Peradeniya, Master of Philosophy from Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Linguistics from the Annamalai University, Thamilnadu, India.
