The sixth session of the ninth series of the 'Preaching the Dhamma in English' programme
The sixth session of the ninth series of the 'Preaching the Dhamma in English' programme was successfully conducted on the 13th of February 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, at the Faculty Board Room of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, Homagama. The topic of discussion was "Interfaith Dialogue: Understanding other religious perspectives," presented to our first year undergraduates by Mr. R. M. Wijayawardhana, Head/Lecturer of the Department of English and Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna, Matara. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Wijayawardhana for sharing his expertise and engaging our students in a thoughtful exploration of interfaith dialogue within the context of the Dhamma.
