Abstract Submission Guidelines 

  • All papers must be original and not previously and simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. 
  • Please mention the postgraduate course you are currently  enrolled in,  along with the name of the institution where you are  pursuing it.
  • Authors who wish to present their research or review papers at the conference must submit their abstracts according to the guidelines given below. 
  • All accepted research papers will be published online. The acceptance of the work ensures that the research paper will be presented at the conference. If the research paper involves more than one author, we expect the presence of at least one author at the conference. 
  • Once your research paper is accepted for the presentation, you have to make the necessary revisions as requested by the reviewers. 
  • Abstracts, in both Word format and PDF formats, should be sent to icpir2025@bpu.ac.lk before the deadline. 

Abstract Guidelines 

Medium : Sinhala, Pali, English, French, Sanskrit, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Tamil, Korean 

Fonts : FM Abhaya, Times New Roman, Sanskrit 99, Simplified Chinese (Simsun), MS  Mincho, Walkman Chanakya 905, Baamini, Malgun Gothic 

The abstract should include at least 5 key words. 

The abstract which is not written in English should provide an English translation with the  original. 

Line spacing : 1.5 pt 

The abstract should be sent both as a Word and PDF file. 

Length : 

Abstract - Maximum 350 words 

Full paper - Minimum 3500 words-Maximum 6000 words 

References: Use APA 7 Referencing Style

Please ensure that your revised abstract includes your full name, affiliated institution, and email  address in both English and the language of your abstract. 

For consistency, use the same format of your name throughout the conference. This format will  be used in the abstract book and on all official certificates. 

By submitting your abstract, you agree to abide by the conference’s guidelines and policies.  Selected abstracts will be notified for further presentation.

  • Only postgraduate students are eligible to present their research work in this  conference. 
  • The conference does not provide airfare for the international participants. 
  • This conference will be held as an onsite event at Buddhist and Pali University of Sri  Lanka, Homagama; and it is recommended that all presenters deliver their research  physically, while overseas presenters may opt to present via Zoom in exceptional  circumstances.
