COURSE CONTENTS:

  • English Grammar and Writing
  • Reading 
  • Speaking and Listening
  • English Literature:  Fiction

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Those who have passed grade 9 and over 16 years of age and are willing to learn English language can apply for this course.

SELECTION:

  • Candidates will be selected for each course on their performance at the Placement Test.

TIME & DURATION: 

  • One year - Every Saturday from 9.00 a.m - 4.00 p.m.

COURSE FEE:

  • Diploma in English : Rs.20,000.00

Placement Test:

  • The  Placement Test will be held at the Centre for Postgraduate Degrees and  External Examinations, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, 214,  Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07.


Advanced Certificate Course in English

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must have successfully completed the Certificate Course in English conducted by this university
    OR

  • Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. (O/t) examination or an equivalent qualification and the placement test conducted by the university.

SELECTION: 

  • Candidates will be selected for each course on their performance at the Placement Test.

TIME & DURATION: 

  • One year - Every Saturday from 9.00 a.m - 4.00 p.m.

COURSE FEE: 

  • Advanced Certificate in English Rs. 25,000/-

* Course fees should be paid at the time of registration. Any course fee once paid cannot be refunded.
