Ven. Prof. Neluwe Sumanawansa, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor for performance duties of the BPU
Venerable Professor Neluwe Sumanawansa Nayaka Thero, Secretary of Old Students' Association of Vidyodaya Maha Pirivena, Colombo 10; Chief incumbent of Purwarama Dharmavijaya Pirivena, Kalutara South; Deputy Secretary of Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagridharma Maha Sangha Council; Chief Sangha Nayaka of Benthara Vihara Chapter and Professor of Sanskrit at the Department of Sanskrit in Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka commenced duties as the Vice Chancellor (for performance duties) from 2nd November, 2020 until permanent appointment is made by the Ministry of Education.
