Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka
This course consists of three levels
(i) Certificate Course in Tamil Language
(ii) Advanced Certificate Course in Tamil Language
(iii) Diploma Course in Tamil Language
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMNTS:
Certificate Course in Tamil Language:
Those who are over 16 years of age and are willing to learn Tamil language can apply for this course.
Advanced Certificate Course in Tamil Language:
Should have passed (O/L) examination with 6 subjects and pass the Placement Test conducted by this university.
Or
Should have passed the Certificate Course in Tamil conducted by this university.
Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with Tamil language and Should have passed the Placement Test conducted by the university obtaining 70% of marks or above.
or
Should have passed the Advanced Certificate Course in Tamil language conducted by this university.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMNTS:
Those who have obtained a Diploma in Tamil language from a recognized university or an institute.
Should have passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination with Tamil language.
Except the candidates who have passed the Diploma in Tamil language conducted by this university, rest of the candidates should sit for a placement test and score 70% or above at the placement test in order to enroll for the course.

Certificate Course in Tamil Language : Rs. 20,000/-
Advanced Certificate Course in Tamil Language : Rs. 25,000/-
Diploma Course in Tamil Language : Rs. 31,000/-
Higher Diploma in Tamil Language : Rs. 36,000/-

COMMENCEMENT:
Diploma in Tamil Language Courses: Every Saturday from 1.00 p.m – 4.00 p.m
Higher Diploma in Tamil Language: Every Sunday from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
