Inauguration of the Bachelor of Arts External Degree Programme – 2024
The inauguration ceremony for the Bachelor of Arts Degree Programme for the academic year 2024 took place on February 29th, 2024 at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Center for External Examinations of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Most Venerable Vice Chancellor, Ven. Professor Neluwe Sumanawansa Thero, the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Ven. Professor Moragollagama Uparathana Thero, the Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Senior Lecturer Ven. Ilukewela Dhammarathana Thero, the Dean of the Faculty of Language Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Swarnananda Gamage, the Librarian, Dr. W. W. K. Lalith, the Head of the Department of Language Skills Development Senior Lecturer Dr. E. G. I. P. Wickramasinghe, and the coordinator of the B.A. External Degree Programme, Senior Lecturer Ven. Beragama Saddhananda Thero. Other notable attendees included the Deputy Registrar (Registrar - Acting), Mr. E.A. Gunasena, the Bursar, Mr. M.A.V.S. Guanawardhana, the Assistant Bursar, Mrs. J.C. Thilagani, the Assistant Registrar (Faculty of Graduate Studies and Center for External Examinations) Ven. Bogamuwe Dheerananda Thero, the staff of the External Examination Division of the Buddhist and Pali University, and 400 undergraduate (External) students.
